Effect of Cold-Working on the Discharge Performance of Commercially Pure Aluminum and AA7050 Alloy Anodes in Primary Alkaline Aluminum-air Battery

چکیده

This work evaluated the performance of annealed and cold-worked commercially pure Aluminum (AA1100) AA7050 alloy as Aluminum-air battery (Al-air battery) anode in a 4 mol.l −1 KOH solution. The electrochemical performance, galvanostatic discharge behavior, microstructure anodes after were studied. Cold-worked showed more negative corrosion potential lower current density compared to anodes, indicating higher activity an enhanced anti-corrosion behavior. In addition, anodic efficiency capacity increased significantly by increasing from 20 mA.cm −2 100 . results this indicated that Al has better materials alkaline Al-air batteries than anode.
